Cole Isaacson
Chief Operating Officer

A respected veteran who has spent his entire professional career in the transportation and logistics industries, Cole Isaacson serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Network Transport. As the company’s COO, Cole utilizes his extensive operational experience both from an asset and brokerage background in his oversight of all aspects of operations for Network Transport.

Cole was first introduced to transportation and logistics during his college days when began his career by cleaning tractor trailers while attending Weber State University. Cole continued to learn and grow his knowledge base for the inner workings of transportation and logistics by working in the areas of maintenance, safety, compliance, recruiting and operations – gaining the valuable experience and expertise that he brings to his work in executive management.

Prior to his current role with Network Transport, Cole served as the President and COO for the SOAR Transportation Group. Cole also held various leadership roles with Swift Transportation and Central Refrigerated Service.

Bill Speer
Chief Financial Officer

Bill Speer brings a wealth of experience across both the manufacturing and logistics industries into his role as CFO of Network Transport. He spent 15 years climbing into the executive ranks of Frito-Lay through early manufacturing roles then transitioning into finance within the fortune 500 company. From there, he then moved to Dover Corp – spending 5 years at Unified Brands as the Director of FP & A. He then had the opportunity to be the financial leader of the food & beverage division within PE backed Zep, Inc. He integrated AFCO within the existing food and beverage business for Zep, spending 3 years doubling the size of the division. Here he transitioned to a dedicated logistics company becoming the CFO of Xpress Global Systems, which is a PE backed LTL asset carrier specializing on flooring products. Speer spent 3 years transforming the company to scale growing from $110M to $250M, incorporating the acquisition of 3 regional companies to create the new XGS. Remaining within the logistics community of Chattanooga, Bill started as CFO of Network Transport in April 2023.

In his role with the company, Bill leads the finance, accounting, HR, and IT departments. Bill graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. Bill will continue to live in Chattanooga, TN with his wife, Emily, and their two children, William 7 and Amelia 3.

Marc Kramer
Chairman of the Soar Transportation Group

As the Chairman of the Soar Transportation Group, Marc Kramer brings a wealth of experience from the worlds of finance and transportation as well as extensive knowledge of other industries. With more than 20 years of private equity experience investing across several sectors in the Middle Market, Marc has been responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including deal origination, transaction structuring and portfolio oversight.

Marc works as a key advisor to portfolio company CEOs and senior executives as relates to setting company strategy, organizational development and balance sheet management. Marc’s advisory work includes evaluating the company and senior executive performance, facilitating lending and M&A transactions and being a key resource as companies face unanticipated challenges in a rapidly changing global macroeconomic environment.

With extensive private and public company board experience, Marc serves on numerous company boards and as an advisor to several private and public company CEOs. Marc has led multiple transactions with a focus on transportation/logistics and distribution-based businesses, including automotive, industrial concerns and consumer goods. In 2021, Marc was honored by Heavy Duty Trucking as one of that magazine’s Innovators of the Year for his leadership of the Soar Transportation Group.

Marc currently pursues advisory and investment opportunities as an independent sponsor. Previously, he was a Managing Director at H.I.G. Capital, a $35B global private investment firm where he worked in H.I.G. 's Private Equity practice focusing on investments in the Middle Market. Prior to H.I.G, Marc was a Managing Director and Partner at Fenway Partners, a $2B North American-focused private equity firm, where he co-led the firm's transportation/logistics investment practice.

Marc founded the Open Road Foundation, a charitable organization providing victim’s assistance and scholarship opportunities to employees and their families across his network of companies. Marc is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Dartmouth College.
